Addons - Create Splash window on UI

I have restarted a project, and just finished something I think would be fine for addons. You can show some info on an splash windows, similar to about blender splash.

It’s developed in a fork, in this branch. You need to build blender or apply a patch to blender sources, and build, to test it.

Comments and support are welcome :wink: Would be great if applied to bf-blender.

This sounds cool, but it’s not really an add-on; an add-on is BPY code that can be installed, this requires recompiling and rebuilding Blender. Moved to Blender and CG Discussions
