That app is the best hidden secret on the face of the earth. It’s great.

i am not sure if this type of app falls around any of these categories, made by one dev and its free!:

The beta version of 1.7 actually has a pixel editor as a node now. It is like a mini app in a single node. It is also slowly turning into a Subtsance Designer competitor with 3d nodes, beveling and height blending. A very cool app indeed! This is a 3d test I posted on the discord that directly uses a monkey 3d mesh rendered in graph as a height map.

Wow. I knew it had some basic procedural nodes, but I didn’t think it was that far along yet. Nice.

Interesting stuff! Thanks for the share. Albert Omoss who builds ArcBrush has worked with some super sausome talents so I’m looking forward to see how this develops!!

This is such a cool list!

I almost feel like it should have a sort of “honorable mentions” section for software which isn’t free but has a perpetual license (one-time payment) as opposed to an annoying subscription.

:ok_hand:

I saw that in the Discord. Very nice. Didn’t know it’s yours. :+1:

Thanks. Does this app have its own site with downloads, or can it only be downloaded from their Discord channel? It’s unclear to me.

How does the app interact with 3D ?
It looks like you loaded a render

It looks like he loads in the mesh there on the left, then uses a couple of nodes to rotate it, and captures a depth mask.

It makes me want to track down a copy of the beta to try it out.

Also, those shuffle nodes look a lot like the tiler in Substance Designer.

yeah currently you need to enter in their discord channel to download the app and report bugs and more in one place, which is free as well

Can I add

this SketchUp Clones

Rhino Clone

AutoCAD clone

The 3d node has a depth socket out in 32 bit float. This can be remapped to a better range and then fed back into the graph. In this case I am scattering 2 different angles of it. It can be a bit slow doing this for many meshes, so would be more performant to render the depth maps from arcbrush. Then batch them into the scatter node since it can deal with folder batches of images.

Nice, thanks! :+1: I’ll add them.

Thanks. They were both already in the list. But suggestions are always appreciated.

Ops my fault
