Advanced Internet browser function

Hi!
Have you ever tried using your Internet browser as a file manager? For example, as in Linux, enter in the search line - /home /user, and then all your files and the folders is displayed in the browser.
Now the question is: can this be remotely done?

Thank you.

yes, it can. its called ftp i believe?

i guess it depends on how remotely.

OK, only I hope that remotely … though not all
Actually, I meant another … special version of the remote Browser and not ftp - ftp, I know what it is. The question of reliability (trust) to the Browser itself.
In Linux, everything is very sensitive, especially if the panel has a plug-in indicator of system resources - there are strange loadings sometimes, both CPU and RAM. I hope that it just seemed to me :bug:
