I love it!
Super cute!
Just one thing: too much DOF. That effect is useful for making unimportant detail fade away to give more emphasis to the focus of the image (for example a single wildflower in a sea of grass). But in your first image there is no unimportant detail. And when you focus on a single object like the telescope, that object should be perfectly in focus because you want us to see all of it.
I featured you on BlenderNation, have a great weekend!
Thanks for the feedback! I will keep it in mind when I work on my next pieces!
Here I used DOF in the main picture with the expectation that all the details will be shown in other shots
Cool work!
Great job with the colors you’ve done here

I disagree. I think DOF is fine taking “important” details out of focus if it helps create the look the artist wants - in this case, I assume, as a miniature.
Sometimes you want the render to have photographic effects or camera angles that don’t highlight every single thing in the scene, and that’s just fine. Making renders is not about making sure the viewer can see every detail you create.
My my. This is a beauty, thanks for sharing such a nice piece of work. About DOF, no, it is not too much, is just the necessary to immense the viewer in the scale of the story your composition is telling.
This is so beautiful
That is so cute… nice job
Thank you all for such kind words!
