Aetheria cover art

This is my submission for the “retro” themed monthly challenge.
Had a lot of fun with this one! I tried to recreate the aesthetic of old cover art for video games such as Sega Genesis or SNES, including what it would look like if you had a copy nowadays. Most of the details lie in the quality of the printed paper, the noise, chromatic abberration ink spots around the detailed areas and the painted/watercolored style of these types of cover art. I even went and created a logo for this nonexistent game, and the usual packaging of the time, following the aspect ratio needed for the challenge (instead of being vertical 9:16). Everything is modeled and made by me. As for 3rd party assets, I used the botanic foliage library for the trees, grass and foreground foliage and for the rocks in the lake. The environment was made using the true terrain add-on for the height information of the mountains and hills. I made all the shaders for the environment, the sword, and also made, rigged and posed the little buddies around the sword, made entirely in blender and edited in Photoshop.
NO AI WAS USED IN THE MAKING OF THIS SCENE.

Hope you like it!!
