After scaling, false edge length are shown

Hello there,
I just wanted to quickly make a cube thinner with scaling, and wanted to see the length of the edges.
Unfortunately, this happened:

How can I fix this?

Cheers,
Matt

Select the cube in object mode, hit “Ctrl+A” and choose “Scale”. Thus you’ll see the scale of your object is “applied” and set to 1.

Thank you!
Blender is an amazing software with so much opportunities.
I thought there was a way to apply scaling, but couldn’t find it.

Problem solved.

You’re welcome. You can also access the same apply option at Object menu or by searching (Hit space to search. Default might be different depending on your keymap setup).
Many operations in Blender have similar approach that you can either find in UI, search or use shortcut.
