Hey Guys,
I am new to the blender program and i was trying to create the ring worn by a few character in the naruto anime.

The outline I wanted is to get that ring lying on a grassy plane and shadow of a person near it.
The one problem I am encountering over here though, is to get the character for the japanese letter shu for engraving on the stone.
Any help, suggestions and tips are welcome.
I made this using the cycles render.
