Clay Version

Original concept by Jehan Choo

Maybe I’m a perfectionist, but I’d fill out the house architecture to be more like the original. And I’d make the girl’s skeleton and face structure more like the original. And I’d show the water like the original.

Also, you should probably pose his right hand a little more. In the original, he’s clearly gripping it reasonably tightly, but in your version, the gun looks like it’s sort of floating, and his fingers control it by magnetic force or so?

Coloring and DOF is pretty good, but also the original has a misty haze at the level of the tops of the trees, which you don’t have. I think you can use a volumetric effect to do that.

I featured you on BlenderNation, have a great weekend!

You’re on the #featured row! :+1:

I like it, but I think you could improve the composition quite a lot by showing off the lake and house more. It loses some important bits of context without those elements well present in the scene.

Love your work man. keep it up! Congrats on the feature.
