I use a geonode on a spline to create a mushroom
body works fine but I cannot rotate the mushroom cap properly

use “endpoint Selection” node with the “end size”=1,connect to “selection” socket of “instance on points”,delete “resample curves” and “reverse curve”,change align axis to Z,may work.for only single point,i think the tangent = its position

This is the important bit. Also, as bochang stated, a single curve point doesn’t have a tangent. But whatever is happening in your network it is symptomatic of a curve tangent not existing. Could also be something like your curve has a duplicate point at the end.
Also, since your head construction is upside down, you’ll need to flip the tangent.
