Here’s my latest project waiting for your ideas and critics.
amazing work !!!
Hey, thanks for sharing your work here, it looks really awesome!
I would like to focus on the first picture now, because there are the main things, that annoy me, which is not much, to be honest.
The first thing, that jumped to my mind was the S shaped pipe. The material seems a bit strange to me, I awaitsome sort of metal, but it looks like very very clean plastic, in a rather dirty environment. I don’t know exactly if that is, what you intended it to be, but of not, maybe try to go for a little bit more gloss and add something that shows, that there are multiple pipes connected to each other with pipe cuffs, or pipe collar as google just said me it is named.
Next up, the rocks, they do not look very believable to my eyes, many things here do, but the rocks just look off to me. I sadly can’t give you any hint in how to make them in a different way, but there are some good tutorials out there, especially the one from CG Geek, also in his videos about creating own textures using a camera in the nature.
Even if you do not use his tutorials, maybe you could gain some inspiration through them and looking at some rocks in the nature for reference is always the best idea.
The third thing on my list are the white reflections to be seen on the white wall in the background. To me it looks like dried drops of water on the lense and if that is the case you would have many more of them all around the light on the wall.
Fourth thing is the positioning of the graffiti. Is is extremely low, one would probably have to sit down in the wet grass with his trousers, with his legs cramped together to get so low in this narrow space. And probably would risk to get some of the color on the trousers.
Last thing on my list is the noise, is it intended to be there, especially in picture three and four? Or is it just due to no denoising tool and not enough samples? I would understand if you left it there on purpose, since there is no camera in the world yet, that wouldn’t have at least some noise in such a dark scenery. But it would be interesting to know if that really was your intention.
I wish you a merry christmas time and a lot of fun with your work, keep it up!
