Allow or disallow fullscreen for youtube video links

Just wanted to share a quick tip :

When you post a video link on this forum, sometimes it won’t allow it to go fullscreen unless you go directly to youtube’s website.

There is a way to control this behavior.
You might have noticed there are two kinds of links that youtube will give you for your video:
- one with youtu.be if you click on the “share” button
- one with youtube.com if you copy the link from you browser’s adress bar

If you post a video with the youtu.be link, it won’t allow fullscreen.
With the full youtube.com link however, it will allow for it

I have to be honest, when I can’t go fullscreen, I must really want to see it to go to YT to watch.

There must be others like me, and potentially, some really impressive stuff goes unwatched.
