Alpha not working??

ok i need a barbed wire fence texture with alpha back ground…so i googled it.

found what i thought had an Alpha back ground…i doesnt work???..it must not have it then huh?? i dont know how to change this…i have no knowledge with GIMP or PS…or anything other painting thing…so help would be cool =)

Well Jpegs don’t have an alpha channel, so if that is the image you found, it will not work. Here is something I wiped up in 5 minutes with the screw tool. You can use the image or use the Blend to make your own.
