What’s up, guys. Still try to achieve smth at least realistic (nothing to say about hyperrealism). I tried to create some kind of altar for spiritual rituals
It’s a bit hard to judge the realism of that scene because you have done things that make it look like surreal art. If this monument existed in real life, it would look a bit uncanny, so you will never get rid of this feel completely.
One thing that would reduce this is to reduce the lens dispersion and bloom. They are really strong and this causes a dream-like effect (unless this is what you are after?). The dispersion would never get this strong on a modern camera unless you used a special lens to do it on purpose. The bloom has a wide radius and is quite intense, that gives the scene a misty, slightly blurry and dreamy look.
If you want to use the planet, it would look better if it wasn’t lit from the opposite direction compared with the rest of the scene.
It’s hard to judge the scale and distance of the mountains. There seems to be 2 rows of mountains, but the front row is more detailed and jagged despite being smaller and closer. They also look rather close to the foreground scene, but are detailed like distant mountains. Are you trying to make small hills that are close, or distant huge mountains? I am not sure looking at this render.
