Effect of my poking around in blender
I like the bullets, that is america RN!
First off, I like it. both from a aesthetic and philosophical view. Could mean a lot of things. If there was one bullet missing from the pack it would mean one thing. but three bullets makes me wonder… there are some left though so that also makes me wonder…
Now my thoughts on what distracts me.
They are super scratched for being new. I grabbed a couple fresh rounds out of a box to inspect. They are not completely glossy. But do have a texture to them. just its super fine. if you backed your scratches off and just introduced a very fine small amount of variance in the glossiness it may nail it.
Next I wonder what cartridge this is. It looks like a 9mm with a tapered neck? Am curious what caliber you patterned it off of. Or if this is your own cg wildcat . The strangely pointed bullets seem seated quit far down. A headstamp would be cool to. could be as short as two letters. or just the caliber.
Anyways. I like it!
Yeah, He should burst the packing where the missing bullets are to make it seem like it was used!
I like how the background in the first render looks like there are finger prints in it.
Woah nothing goes unnoticed. Sharp set of eyes you have there :>
You’ve got me with the pointy bullets. I just did a poor job reshaping my old 5.56 Nato round to 9mm dimentions That’s why i didn’t want to specify anything with headstamp.
Regarding however the scratches, it’s intentional. What you see there is nothing new. An old tale no matter how many times it’s repacked.
Thanks for your notes, they really mean a lot. I’m glad that you liked it
Lol! A good way to get cartridge dimensions is look up the load data on it
Sorry. Meant reloading data
Beautiful ! Great Work
Cures headache immediately
Relevant again so quickly. Now it seems it’s a way to deal with having a 'bad day.
Was that about COVID or did you have a bad day?
I had in mind the shooting in Atlanta and the explanations that were given about why it happened.
I really like this work of yours. But one thing: this is not the same scene? I just think it is nicer to present the same scene from multiple angles.
Yup, you’re right, but in this case I was presenting the subject in two different contexts (slightly modified meaning). I just couldn’t decide which one is better.
The first one is much better. Much clearer. (I assume it was the first chronologically too?)
Actually it was the other way around I’m glad you like it.
Ah yes an old saying:
First the worst, second the best.
Maybe you know it.
(Third is the one with a treasure chest)
That’s gold
Didn’t know that one.
