Among the Dahlia

I wanted to experiment with volumetric lighting and the texture work that goes along with it, so I created this scene. It features a lush flower bed impaled on several trees. The setting sun in the background casts long shadows and sends rays of light scurrying through the calm scene.

Looks good.

The first thing I thought of was an animation where the camera pulls back and what we thought were trees are actually the legs of a HUGE animal of some sort.

But, that’s me…

This looks great! Just one question - are those photoscanned tree trunks? They are wondfully detailed, and really add to the effect :slight_smile:
