Hello everyone,
First post on the Blender community !
After more than 16 years using 3ds Max, I decided to try a new challenge, using Blender.
It’s really not easy for me, all the automatisms, the shortcuts, the functions are different, I’m a bit lost…
However, the possibilities offered by Blender are spectacular, so I’m giving it a try !
Modelling is fine, it takes some getting used to but it’s OK.
The rest, like rigging, materials and textures, and lighting, is no easy task !
I’m certainly going to need some advice to move forward…
So for this first post, I present my latest creation…
The AMP from the film Avatar.
I’ve gone into a lot of detail on my model, mainly using images from the film and making sreenshots !
I’m really pleased with the result !
