An abstract shader I've been working on

Hey all! Over the past 2 years I have been toying with a shader-idea that came of out an attempt to achieve iridescence. Recently, I got involved with it again, and turned into a ‘proper’ nodegroup shader.

I’m at this point where my computer probably can’t take much more depth, but I just want to keep tweaking and adding little details. It was supposed to be animated (and probably will make a toned-down animated version) but I kept getting lost in it, just staring amazed at the beauty and details that would emerge from the fiddles.

Anyhow, I made some pretty HD shots of some variants of this experimenting, and wanted to share it with you guys! All rendered in Eevee.

any sort of way you could make a Mandelbrot zoom with this? thought it would be cool
