Just wanted to share a video we uploaded today showcasing 3D cylindrical anamorphic objects created using Blender:
Of course, I threw in an Easter egg for us Blenderheads @2:30. =D
When Zach first approached me about doing this, I wasn’t sure if I’d be able to do this. But after doing some R&D, I was able to create 3D anamorphic illusions in Blender relatively painlessly, mainly using one or two instances of the Simple Deform Modifier.
We’re planning on doing a part 2. Let me know what you guys think!
