Walter Cronkite passed away yesterday. The end of an era… bet “Uncle Walter” s passing won’t garner near the attention that Michael Jackson’s did. In this day and age, most of what passes for news isn’t really news…
And Henry Allingham died this night. He was one of the last WW1 veterans… The end of this time… This makes me sad. 
Yep… and yet it’s buried at the bottom of page 6D in the paper…
Sad to see him go. I grew up getting the daily news from him.
Shame, really… both Mr. Cronkite and Paul Harvey. Not many more around like them (if any at all).
