Hey everyone!
It’s been awhile since I posted something.
This is a shot I did while taking Animation Mentors’ Creature Locomotion Course. The deer is animated in Maya, the environment is modelled in Blender and everything is render in Cycles.
The deer rig is from Blueberrymation.

Indeed nice animation smooth natural movements, but you can did do also the animated version with Blender, I hope to see also in future this one.
I like it. The startled action looks great. At the end when he runs off though, it looks too straight to me. You might have the deer zig zag a bit more to add some variety and edginess to the action of running away in total fear. All in all though it looks awesome! Great job!

@pafurijaz I know blender is capable of high quality animation but the animation course I was taking they used maya.
