Has anyone ever had any luck getter permission to use a sound track in a short animated movie, which will eventually be put on you tube or shown at an animation festival? I was interested in using a soundtrack scored by “Harald Kloser” but have no idea how to contact him to ask for permission to use it.
He doesn’t own the rights if it was made for a film score… not the rights to the recording anyway. Try contacting the film studio. If you beg them hard enough they might let you… nah, probably not. Never hurts to try, i guess.

You can filter the search to find only commercial use tracks. I believe all of the albums show the license that they are released under as well.
