animating a materials texture

Hi I have been working on my book animation for a little while now and started from scratch just to get it right.

I am trying to turn a page with a blank image texture on it but want it to morph into another image on the page twice and then close the page. I hope thats understandable LOL believe me it blows my mind too)
I solved the problem of having just the blank texture on the reverse of the page and thought i had solved my problem but for some reason in materials mode it works fine (ready for me to animate it) but when i render it the page is greyed out.

mmmmm. Any body got any ideas.
Here i have the images im trying to get too and also the blend file. I would like to get to a point i can share the blend file with everyone but it has to be right first. Someone else may be able to use it in their projects too.
The whole book is rigged and really nice to use so it seems a waste to just use it for myself and only be seen by a couple of people on you tube.

Im pretty sure i havnt save the blend file so you can see my textures but hopefully you will get the gist of my problem. I think its something to do with the way i have set up the node editor so i can animate the images (appearing and disappearing) on the Factor sliders)

I think your problem is in your node setup:


The most notable concern are the mix nodes. You have one of them set to 0.0 (which only allows the TOP input to show) and the other to 1.0 (only allows the BOTTOM input to show).

More than that is hard to say without packing the textures. (File–>External Data–>Pack All Into .blend)
