animating a page ? <how>

Hi , i was trying to animate a page using shape keys aka [RVK] , but noticed that the vertices get shifted from a position to an other , while not passing the mid position

is there a way with shape keys to have 3 positions and switch between them in the same curve ?

or i have to use bones ?

you could use the new video texture in 2.49

yes. you can make 3 different shape keys for different positions.
