Animation rotates backwards instead of full rotation

I’m (kinda) new to blender and i wanted to try animating over another animation (and with another’s model lol) to work out the movement and all that, however often when i animate on blender at some point the rotation for the character breaks seemingly and it goes the completely opposite way when rotating, I’m not sure if it’s just I’m doing key frames wrong or what, any help would be appreciated, thanks.

It’s probably to do with the rotation mode. Switching from Quaternion to one of the Euler modes will probbaly fix it.
