Hi guys I’m fairly new to blender (first post here!) and so far I designed the head of an anime character that I plan to animate and use in a game sometime. I thought I was doing ok, however, after playing around with the lighting a bit and some rendering, I found that the model has bad shadows when the light is in certain areas.
Above the model has weird shadows between the eyes and nose area, that being just one of the weird shadows I get when I place the lighting in different spots. Is there any trick around this with the lighting settings or something, or is it mostly the model??? (I don’t want to use a subdivision surface modifier)
Also here is a front and side view of the head:
Also, feel free to tell me how I can improve this model, thanks in advance to anyone who answers
