I haven’t had much opportunity to do personal works, but I figured i’d make myself do one as an exercise. Its based on ‘Anne of Green Gables’.
I didn’t really get a great likeness of any particular actor who portrayed the role, and ideally i’d like to get more expressiveness in future works. But hey, gotta start somewhere, right? Everything is from scratch (no base model) and tried out dream textures for making her shirt pattern.
i might circle back around at some point. i was treating this more of a quick exercise, although ultimately i’d like to do some animation to stress test some new stuff i’ve been doing with my wiggle bones script
I always think of this song. The last adaption of “Anne of Green Gables” was CBC’s “Anne with an E” and its opening theme was “Ahead by a Century” by my favorite band “the Tragically Hip”
