Any idea what these dots are? I used particle hair a lot lately and haven’t seen this until now. These dots were at the end of the strands when I entered particle edit mode and then just stayed in place when I combed the hair.
In the Particle Edit mode Options panel disable ‘Children’ if you have it enabled

So I guess the dots appear when you have children set to “none” in the Hair settings but you enable the “children” option in Particle edit mode. Got it.
