The company I’d worked for used to do a lot of HOPA adventure games. Being a (sole) 3D modeller for the team, my company had been kind enough to let me screw around with creating 3D animated characters for the game’s cinematics (most of which were done using 2D puppet techniques).
As a result, I’ve created this talking demon character, which was my first experience using shape keys for lip-syncing, and some other techniques.
Modelled in Blender and Zbrush, textured in Substance Painter, rigged animated and rendered in Blender
