Hi guys, small question.
I don’t know how to solve …
I am making this scene at 2500spp, size 1920 * 1080 [200%] and in spite of everything I come up with that serration on the particular of the chair leg.
I tried to change the values of the PixelFilter Type, also changed the filter, inserted the subD, increased the polygons, modified the Clamp direct / indirect … Nothing. I have that annoying artifact left.
I have noticed that it often happens in areas of bright light.
Any Idea please ??
What version of blender are you using? Also holy poops 2500 samples is insane
2.82, but also with the 2.81 I have the same problem.
At 2500 I arrived to find out if I could solve the problem.
Ive noticed turning scrambling down to about 0.2 and enabling dithered sobol results is much better aa but that was because of a bug. Though you might be experiencing the same one
https://blender.community/c/graphicall/kdbbbc/ you can use this build to try those settings
Downloaded and tested.
Nothing changes.
Well it shoulda rendered faster at least lol. Are you using denoising?
Yes, of course!
Aaaand its not caused by the denoising? lol
I have already done the various tests with and without denoise, nothing changes.
The rest of the scene, in the other shots, does not cause any type of artifact, only in that specific area, as in the detail of the screenshot I posted.
