Antique Coffee Grinder

Hi! My girlfriend loves coffee and drinks it every morning, so the idea of that project comes easy for me. I dedicate this work to her. Also I wanted to create all modeling and UV in blender and improve my skills in texturing. This asset was made as real-time object. I’m using one 2k texture set. Renders are made in UE4. Hope you like it!

Hey there! Saw this over at Polycount - excellent work! The texturing is amazing - especially for 1 texture set. :+1:

Thank you!

Nice, I like that you added applied damage also, like with the rust on the grinder thing and the chip on the open drawer.

The only thing that bothers me about this shot is that the outside of the cup is quite-visibly dirty. While there might be coffee residues on the inside and the lip of a well-used pourer, in any good commercial advertising photograph the outside of it would certainly be spotless.

Awesome, like the worn look of it!

some critique; Beans are sized too small imo, they should be scaled two times(ish) their current size. The grind should be more flat since u keep moving the device while grinding, it would be physical more accurate. The grind should also be a bit darker.

I made something similar earlier this year, have a look at the grinder/bean proportions if you like.
