Any script to add random rocks?

Are any of the wonderfull scripts here suitable for

  1. generating, or modifying, a base mesh (sphere or cube) into a random shaped rock.
  2. then distributing iterations (of varying scale and rotation) across a plane (of varying height)?

I thought maybe “big numbers toolkit” but I’m not sure how if all parametres would be met?

Thoughts welcome.
Or is it a particle type thing to do?

search the forum there was a thread 2 weeks ago for an outside programme that
can generate random rocks then you import it to blender
