Any suggestions to any Blender tutorial?

I’m not too new to blender and I have a decent grasp of the software, but it’s only decent. Are there any tutorials on Blender that one would like to recommend? Really, it could be a tutorial on advanced rigging, texturing, modeling, grease pencil, and especially animation. (It would be preferable if the Tutorials were free or at least cheep as free)

Haha don’t expect a lot of answers especially that fits all the requirements !

You can look at blender foundations training material, I recommend Humane Rigging and Blenderella for character modeling. You can find them on youtube.

Both uses an old blender version but it should be ok to follow especially if you already know a bit in these areas.

At some point tutorials aren’t enough anymore, you should look into courses, especially for advanced stuff like animation. Free courses : well, you might find some but it’s really rare.

Truth is, most of people doing free tutorial target beginners since this is where there is the biggest crowd, and it’s easy to demonstrate simple techniques in a less than 20mn video. Then it’s easy to produce video regularly.

You can look at @Ascalon tutorials, super interesting and quite advanced techniques for NPR rendering : https://www.youtube.com/c/aversionofreality And you’ll probably learn a lot of stuff for regular blender use along the way !

It’s not on blender but Niel Blevins made a insane amount of great learning material : https://www.youtube.com/@ArtOfSoulburn/playlists
You can learn a lot about CG and while this is fundamental knowledge you’ll note that very few people talk about these subjects, or at least it’s much harder to find.

And in the end, if you really want to level up, consider subscribing to CG cookie or blender cloud for a few mounts, there you’ll find probably a lot of what you’re looking for !

Have fun !

For animation, character creation, and rigging, look up Dikko on YouTube. Truly incredible stuff there

If you’re checking my videos out, I would suggest this one as an intro to custom shaders.

Search pierrick picaut youtube channel…
Some are free and really good for learning rigging.

In my opinion, at one point the best way to learn is to begin your own project, and every time you meet a problem, ask in forums or look for the appropriate tutorial

I totally agree with you, moonboots… In fact I’m looking for ideas for my next project…
Any suggestion?
