Here’s some good book recommendations from a really good Blender artist:

Don’t limit yourself to CG books. Although the technical info is outdated, John Alton’s Painting With Light is a classic and all of the theory is still very relevant. Along with The Five C’s of Cinematography it is a book that every aspiring filmmaker should probably read. Of course, a lot of the info applies to stills as well.
