I’m trying to finish up this scene here but I’m having trouble with the AO as you can see here I’m not sure what I’m doing wrong
I don’t know how the AO looks but I usually use Fac = 1.

I still need to see how the AO look. Please use an emission shader to show the AO on the objects.
Then you’re good, because there is no black value around the bottom of the rock.
how would I go about added dark values on the bottom of the rocks?
You can use the AO settings of the renderer and the Ambient Occlusion node of the shader editor. Texture painting is another option.
