Applying a Constraint

I’m working on a project that I used a lot of the shrinkwrap constraint for modeling, and I’m at the point of adding inverted hull outlines and rigging, both of which will destroy the shrinkwrap. When I hit “apply” on the constraint, all that happens is it resets the position of the object back to it’s original placement. What is the proper way to apply a constraint so that the transforms are permanent? Thanks for the help!

Not sure sure it helps in this case as your scene might be more complex, but are you looking for this by any chance? (ctrl-A → apply visual transforms)
