Is it common where you live for folks to actually park their cars on sidewalks? I have been to over 20 countries, and I have never once seen this practice, especially with nice high curbs like these, that could bend the shit out of rims, crush oil pans, etc. Nothing would get someone towed faster if they tried this tomfoolery in the United States… Everywhere I have been, if parking is allowed on the side of the street, it is essentially a four or six lane street, otherwise there is simply no parking allowed.

Neat concept though. You should keep at it and try to polish it up a bunch. Could look really cool with some more work.

Parking on the Sidewalk is normal in Germany

Hmmm… damn… and I’ve been to Deutschland. I stand corrected.

Actually, yes and no. It’s allowed in neighborhoods where the curb is lowered to allow parking. In other places it is not allowed. There is actually a law which indicates how much space has to be left between the car and the other end of the pedestrian area for parking to be allowed.

So what is shown in the image you will not find: parking on non-lowered curbs. Just lower the curb and it’s all fine.

Thanks for your comments. Indeed in the Netherlands whole streets are populated with cars on the pedestrian side. It’s not uncommon. Escpecially iof streets are not wide enough for cars to park on the streets.

I’m an italian living in Catalonia: car on sidewalks is actually a thing, I can confirm it.

So maybe it’s a European thing, small and busy streets. :upside_down_face:

I featured you on BlenderNation, have a great weekend!

What aracno is that :grinning:? only then we can know if it is a phobia - extreme or irrational fear. Nice ambience i like particularly the light in the wet asphalt.

Well there are these bird-eaters and some black widows so well it got lots of legs so maybe they just tickle a bit. Thanks for commenting.

Thanks appreciate it.

Congratulations. I like the spiders and the wet spots with reflections. The city in the background looks really nice too.

The lights overhead actually remind me of the heater lamps they sometimes line up for food to keep warm, like at buffet.

I din’t notice the car thing personly. My suggestion would be for the running man: slightly larger hood, materials tweaked a little, and he would look a little more photoreal.

Thank you for your comment. The running man is from humangenerator 3d but i did not much with the textures so that could be tweaked more like you said.
