Arcade Adventure /// 02 Nodevember 2023

I modeled an arcade cabinet from geonodes primitives, that was easier than expected and learned a lot about geonodes while making those small buttons. They are modeled from a cylinder just like I’d do in editmode but every mesh operation is a new node. That is uselessly complicated but in theory I could expose some values like width and height to the geometry nodes modifier or a nodegroup and have dynamic buttons that can be changed with a simple slider. But this is rather an exercise from nodevember, usually you model such things…
There is no music to this presentation as those artworks and nodesetups keep me very busy, so I have even less time to jam on some sounds.
