Are there ways to make the hair not fall through the mesh?

I’ve add collision to the head, but it didn’t help. Any other ideas?

In the older particle hair system hairs have there own collission and they don’t have to be added…
The new curve hair… ? (Didn’t used it yet…)

I mean the new one.

The new hair curves system currently has no base deflector options like the old particle system.

As such, there is no default way currently to stop it just falling into the mesh. One assumes that will change when they get around to adding full physics simulations to the new system.
