What’s this! OSX Lion can’t run blender 2.57 because it no longer supports power pc whatever?!?! 
Steve Jobs knows best, that’s why he gets paid the big bucks!
Snow Leopard required an Intel mac so if you use Lion you must also have an Intel Mac which still runs the Intel blender version just fine. It won’t run the PPC blender version but why would you ?
@Richard ??? This whole time I might’ve had the wrong blender? Who knew. TO BLENDER.ORG!!! Wait, I will just use 2.58.
