Armature not moving to 0,0,0 in Unreal from Blender Export

Hi all, when I export my animations from Blender > UE5, the Armature root bone is moved well above the ground plane and there is a red bone connecting back to the 0,0,0 root.

In the tutorials I’ve watched, when the weapon is exported, it appears at 0,0,0 in Blender, and then a socket is used in unreal to move it to the hand.

I’ve uploaded an example of a tutorial I found online vs. my setup. It looks identical but the export is breaking.



In Blender, you need to apply Transforms (Ctrl A, All Transforms) before exporting
