Armature Problem

Basically I want the thing to… - I’m not sure how to say it - but bend only the section that the arm is positioned to.

There are no edge loops over the length of the mesh, so there’s no place it can bend.

  1. delete the armature modifier, and then delete the vertex groups in Object Data properties
  2. add a few edge loops on the mesh where it’s supposed to bend (Ctrl+R)
  3. re-parent the armature to the object - select object, Shift+select armature, Ctrl+P and choose ‘With Automatic Weights’
