Armature troubles

For a while now I’ve been working on a whale-like humanoid, and I been following the tutorials as best I can , but after adding the master bone (as shown in the Introduction to Character Animation tutorial) the armature seems to have gone to hell. When I try to move the left leg up, the entire armature is affected.
(By the way, what website is preferred for .blend file sharing?)

Check ChainLen: in the Constraint Panel where you set the IKSolver (I’m assuming you’re using IK.) If it’s set to 0 (default) it will affect all of the bones in the hierarchy. Try a 1 and see what happens, then increment it until it’s influence on the hierarchy seems to make sense. Hope that helps.

Hey thanks, your advice worked. I set the ChainLen to two and everything is fine now.
