Arranging svg files as background

Jonathan Williamson in his car tutorial shows how to set up svg files as backgrounds for four viewpoints. Initially this involves grouping the four images in a stack using move geometry to origin. When I do this the svg images break up into numerous individual parts. (I am not using his concept mini blueprints where it works OK, but Blueprints’ Mini Coper R56 2007). Is there a way locking the individual parts of each image as a group so that this does not happen?

I’m fairly new to the forum so hope I’m following correct guidelines.

If anyone can tell me how to upload a screen-print to the forum, I’ll do this if it helps.
