Array modifier for border with mesh to create "cloud border"?

Hi  i am new in blender and i am trying to recreate this figure in order to print it for a friend,

i have tried to do it by making a plane mesh + creating a curve with the loop and setting an array modifier with a mesh ( as i saw in some tutorials) , but it is not working good, when i set the solid modifier: it crushes and i have tried to make it better but it is not working. ( i have no screen captures of this )
I also tried creating a a simple plane and using array in the external loop converted in curve but i can not make it properly fix.
any ideas? thank you very much <3

drive with screen captures and file

i can post just one image so there is a drive with other images and the file

sdfsdf.blend (962.8 KB)

Use the same origin as the curve and the object should be located in the center of the origin.
And initialize the rotation scale.

thank you very much <3 <3 <3 do you know if it is necessary to apply modifiers and join it with the star mesh to print it or will it work without that?

I don’t know much about 3D printers.
Maybe we should make it into one mass.

There is a tool for the 3D printer in the Addon inside the blender.

Or if you ask questions after modeling, there will be someone who can review the file or answer about the 3D printer.
