ArtistX 0.4 now includes Blender 2.45! Just finished downloading it (only bad thing is that the ISO file is 3GB :eek: took me 4 hours to download) and the fellow Windows users will be happy to know that once you download and burn the ISO to DVD you can use it both as an installation or live DVD (boot from your DVD). This distribution is totally loaded!

Nice, but I have to admit that I simply have no clue why these “artistic” distros exist, except for sound makers purposes(low latency kernel). I tried several of them and usually they had not more than what I can get under Ubuntu.
