Athena Statue

I had bought the Bagaivy addon a while ago but never used it, so thought I would give it a try for this one. I am still not 100% on the colours/light but it was fun to do.

Oo! This looks so cool! The folds on the statue looks so nice!

I wish I could take credit for that but it is part of the max hay sweeper course assets.
I do want to get better at modelling but I don’t have lots of time so I mainly kitbash. I can model small things, I just struggle with larger more intricate pieces.

It’s an awesome piece!
I agree the lighting is a tad dark but still incredible though!
What is this “Bagaivy addon” you speak of?
(Just started using Blender 3 days ago so forgive my newbishness)

Thank you! I agree with you on the lighting, I have been watching a few Max Hay tutorials on YouTube to understand lighting better.
Baga Ivy is great you can draw ivy directly on to the surface of an object and bam instant ivy! You have to play around a little with the settings because it is resource hungry (slows blender right down) but check it out here https://blendermarket.com/products/bagaivy

Ohh okay, well that’s pretty smart i guess. You can play around with addons without spending to much time modeling

True, I start a new job next week and it will free up some of my time, so I’m going to make more of an effort to model more.

I featured you on BlenderNation, have a great weekend!
