Right off the bat, I suddenly noticed some bad texture smearing on the base of the ship, indicated by the arrow. Not too hard to fix.

The problem is the blue halo light bleed through. I want a volumetric blue light being emitted from the exhaust bell. However, to make the diameter of the light equal to the diameter of the bell, I had to locate the lamp deep in the ship’s middle. This means where the bell necks in to a wasp-waist, the blue halo is exposed. Not what I wanted. However I’m sort of stumped as how to fix this. Any ideas? Any other flaws noted?

I don’t know much about these things, but can you use a lattice to shape your light?
