Haha, yeah, I also couldn’t escape the thought of that.

Thanks, appreciated!

Lovely!

PS. One thing that could be improved is the cherry texture, it feels a little too rough. I would have made them a little more shiny and smooth. :grinning:

Thanks!

I used this photo as reference. Cherries are rougher than you might guess.

ref kersen

This doesn’t really matter, I was only nitpicking. I would say that the cherry’s on that ref image doesn’t look that fresh. I still think that cherry’s feels a little more glossy and deeper red than in you image, but it’s a stylized cartoon so it doesn’t really matter. Still a really nice image and concept!

Thanks! They want to be free and independent.

Thanks. :slightly_smiling_face: Another reason to make the cherries not too shiny is the reflections would become too prominent and distractive, revealing the studio environment.

That’s true, it may be more distracting, so keep it as it is.

The credit for the concept goes to Sébastien Le Divenah, a creative, talented concept artist.

Non the less, it’s funny
What’s your usual workflow, do you rig your characters at all?

Thanks!

I usually don’t rig my characters, but sculpt them straight into a pose. I dislike the hassle of armature fitting and weight assignment corrections.
