Attaching empty to a bone

I am trying to figure out if there is a way to make either:
Multiple objects be affected by one armature,
OR
Attach empties to individual bones, ie. not the whole armature.

Is this possible? I’m trying to create collision sensors for individual limbs for a game.

  1. Just add a Modifier to each Object and use the same Armature as ‘Object’

  2. Add the Empties, Goto Pose mode, Select the relevant Empty and Shft-Select the Bone, Ctrl-P “to Bone”.
