avi file as a texture

I am trying to use a small avi file as a texture but all i get is pink…Is there only certain video codecs etc that blender can use? any help?

btw i’m using cycles and 2.65.3

Cheers got it sorted I had tried that before without it working but I renamed the files with less numbers on them it was confusing blender…

Thought I had it sorted but render street doesn’t seem to like it I will change my scene:(
